What are the things that i do not like about this rug?

Well there is no such thing as a perfect product, this area rug is definitely not perfect but buying it was worth every penny.

There are two things that i kinda do not like about this rug

It’s four corners kinda won’t stay down, they stay raised up even after putting heavy weights on it.

You will need to get a rug gripper suitable for concrete floors, if you can’t afford a rug gripper you will need a double sided carpet tape suitable for concrete floors.

The last thing i did not like about this rug is that it is a little on the thinner side and i ended up putting a rug pad to underneath.

To anyone looking for a beautiful rug that goes well with concrete floors then i highly recommend this area rug simply because it hs never given me any issues.

At first, i was skeptical about buying it but after then i bought it after reading the customer reviews since a lot of people were also recommending it..

Great value for money, it will be worth every penny you spend on it.

What are the pros and cons of using this area rug?

Pros

  • It does not shed so it will not leave fiber on your concrete floors.
  • It has a cotton backing which will not leave any yucky sticky residue to your floors like rubber backed rugs would.
  • It is mildew and mold resistant which is great especially because concrete floors can be damp and in basements they retain humidity.
  • It is stain resistant and great for homes with children or pets.
  • It is soft and plush and feels warm on the feet especially because concrete floors can be freezing cold
  • It perfects blends to any decor in a room no need obsessing to match with throw pillows etc.
  • It adds the needed lift and brightness to concrete floor room effortlessly

Cons

  • This is going to be hard to believe but as of now i do not have a negative to say about this rug because it has made my recreational area-  it is comfortable and thick enough to sit on – after weeks of having friends over hanging on it, it wears well.
  • Maybe the downside of this area rug would be that it would *require a rug pad* as it is not super thick and plush like some rugs out there…plus it could a take a while for the wrinkles and corners to flatten out completely due to packaging.

I have mid century modern theme recreational area in my basement with concrete floors and i needed a rug that would brighten the space as well as compliment the decor.

It is exactly what i was hopping for…

Plus me and my husband rarely agree on the decorating of the house *but he complimented me on buying this rug for our rec area*

If my husband loved it, I’m pretty positive you will love it as well..

There are quite a lot of different area rugs that you can buy available in the market right now, but you need to be very careful when shopping for an area rug these days, because most rugs contain materials which can retain moisture and create cracks on the concrete.

The reason i am recommending this rug is because it has a cotton backing which is good as it does not have any plastic or rubber backing which will stick to your concrete floors, bring on mildew and mold hence call for replacement after a short time.

It will not retain any moisture and cause cracks to your concrete

It is safe, it add comfort as it is soft and it brings much needed brightness to a concrete floor room.
