Is this area rug easy to clean?

Based on my personal experience i have not had this area rug for very long but i have vacuumed cleaned it once and it it did not shade much fiber. But a lot of people under amazon reviews have said it is very easy to clean and will shed less and less as you vacuum clean it .

And if you have pets and toddlers in the house who might be messy eaters at meal times you can easily vacuum clean it too without hassle.
